Tilt's London Liming: Where Spoken word meets Carnival

London Liming encourages you to go with the flow, take in your surroundings and  experience some of the most exciting voices in spoken word. At this festival finale, poets, wordsmiths, musicians, duettists, and prose writers Raymond Antrobus, Jay Bernard, Burt Caesar, Colin Grant, Maggie Harris, Hannah Lowe, Marc Matthews, Kerry Young, Philip Nanton, Alexander D Great, Melanie Abrahams and DJ Psykhomantus, explore and assert their independence.

“The people that attend are often as interesting to watch as the acts up on stage. Liming never ceases to amaze, to inspire and to pull out of the hat the ‘something other.” Literature Lounge

" they mash up Caribbean carnival sensibilities with dance music and poetry readings creates a sense of involvement lacking at many literary events.."  Danuta Kean on ‘Culture Clubs’

An event for London Is The Place For Me Festival 2016. Produced by Tilt for Renaissance One, and funded by Arts Council England.
