OPGS presents a one-week festival offering visiting writers and speakers who celebrate words, writing both for the page and for the stage, challenging stereotypes in literature, and the music and malleability of language.  The writers include John Agard, Patience Agbabi, Margaret Hamilton, Ben Crystal. Tom Hart Dyke, Mark Gwynne Jones, Adisa, The Hip Hop Shakespeare Company, William Hussey, Alan Gibbons, Jennifer Button and Ben Kane.
