My name is Moonlie and I am a London-based children’s illustrator with a warm cup of tea in my hands. I am super proud of my Chinese Malaysian roots. I was born in the Netherlands and grew up in Belgium.
I’m enthusiastic and passionate about illustrations and I love inventing quirky characters and stories all the time. My medium to go is watercolour and ink. I’m especially drawn by colour, textures and expressive lines. I appreciate the wittiness and light-heartedness that centre good illustration.
