Equal parts Trinidadian, Bahamian, and US citizen, Robert Antoni is the author of five books and is a recipient of the prestigious OCM Bocas Prize (2014) and a Commonwealth Writers Prize for his first novel Divina Trace.  Based in New York, he teaches at the New School. 

In October 2015, Robert Antoni visited England to do a book tour of his latest book As Flies To Whatless Boys  (Akashic Books, 2013, UK Edition by Peepal Tree, 2015) with fellow novelist Caryl Phillips, also in the country to do readings for The Lost Child.  The tour produced by Renaissance One was in partnership with Leeds University, Leeds Beckett University, The Big Bookend, Ilkley Literature Festival, Off The Shelf Festival of Words, Peepal Tree and Oneworld, and was funded by Arts Council England.
