Sarah Dara is a writer, editor, and PhD researcher in English and Creative Writing at the University of York. Her creative-critical research focuses on issues of representation including the voice, agency and identity of South Asian sex trafficking survivors in contemporary fiction. She is passionate about issues concerning women, particularly South Asian women. In the past, Sarah has worked as a journalist and a creative writing instructor in Karachi, Pakistan. She is published in the Herald, Soch Videos, Newsline Magazine, Himal Southasian, Literally Stories and The Bard Review. Sarah is the project manager of the This Is Who We Are project which is part of the British Council’s UK-Australia Season.
